The purpose of IBA is to provide membership to Behavior Consultants across the state of Indiana. IBA was created in response to the need to improve best practices among Behavior Consultants and to hold agencies that provide Behavior Support Services accountable.

A Call to Action
IBA aims to assist BCs who have or is experiencing a variety of malicious practices, such as providers accusing BCs of solicitation without evidence, claiming fraudulent billing only after they submitted their resignation (to sabotage their future employment), and often sending cease & desists to intimidate & bully.
IBA is establishing a code of ethics that will help BCs hold themselves accountable and provide guidelines to help each professional feel successful.
